About Betty Shao

Betty Shao is a Chinese-Canadian freelance illustrator from Toronto, Ontario. She mainly focuses on digital media but also enjoys doing silkscreen printmaking. Her work mainly consists of narrative-driven food illustrations that have a feeling of nostalgia. She strives to become a comic artist and book illustrator. 

She is currently in the illustration program for a Bachelor of Design at OCAD University.
